Organised in conjunction with Reframing Modernism, this symposium seeks to further explore the curatorial and art historical background to the exhibition. Alongside international academics and researchers who will present on specific artists featured, the curators of the exhibition will share their research. With keynote speeches by Professor Roger Benjamin of the University of Sydney and Catherine David, Deputy Director of the Musée national d’art moderne of the Centre Pompidou, Paris.
