Swiss university SIT students to enrol in NUS School of Computing Master’s Programme under new partnership

SINGAPORE, 19 September 2019 – The Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (SIT) today announced a joint partnership with the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore (NUS Computing), aimed at providing top students from Switzerland’s SIT with the opportunity to enrol into the NUS Master of Computing programme, and to advance their technology and research skills in various computing domains.

SIT is a private, non-profit university that offers tertiary education, research opportunities, and an entrepreneurial environment in the areas of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Blockchain, and Digital Law.

Under the partnership, up to 15 students from SIT will be selected to enrol into a 12-month NUS Master of Computing programme. In fact, five SIT students have already joined the programme, and are working towards obtaining their NUS Master of Computing degrees. The programme combines the highest academic standards with a focus on practicality and the information technology (IT) needs of businesses. The partnership between SIT and NUS Computing provides the students with the opportunity to develop unique skills in leading-edge areas ranging from Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to Software Verification and Cybersecurity, where there is a pressing demand for top talent.
