Our already stringent cleaning protocols have been further heightened with frequent and rigorous cleaning of all areas with hospital-grade disinfectants, including all high-touch areas, like elevator buttons, handrails and door handles. Hand sanitizing stations have been strategically placed around the resort, and all of our associates who work directly with guests wear PPE. Furniture has been rearranged in public spaces and restaurants to ensure safe distancing,

Behind the scenes, guests can rest assured that we are maintaining high standards. In the kitchens, restaurants and bars, everyone handling food and drinks has been trained in safe preparation and service practices according to Global Food Safety guidance, while all our associates have received enhanced training in sanitation and hygiene.

While guests may have less face-to-face contact with our associates, we have enhanced service to create greater connection, harnessing technology to assist with the current situation. The Marriott Bonvoy app can be downloaded to guests’ smartphones and is full of useful features, including mobile check in and check out, mobile room key and mobile chat to connect with Westin associates. Information around the resort is accessible by a quick QR code scan, while all menus, including room service, are now digital and are also easily read via QR code on the app.

Guests rooms are a delightful safe haven and are deep cleaned and disinfected after each check-out, with special attention made to items such as the AC control, remote controls, phone, chair armrests and more, so each new guest can be confident of the cleanliness. In-stay housekeeping has also been reduced so that the only person who comes into your room is you.
